ASI Elections Online March 21-24

ASI will soon be conducting student government elections on-line via the internet. The Associated Students has contracted with Big Pulse USA, Incorporated to provide the technology and platform for conducting the election.

During the election period of March 21 - 24, a link to the on-line ballot will be sent to your preferred e-mail address as indicated on your “My CSULB” page. Only currently enrolled students who are eligible to vote will receive this e-mail.

Please be advised that individuals found to be in violation of campus computer access policies will be subject to immediate disciplinary action. Violations, which include any attempt to alter the outcome of an online student referendum or student body election by illegally accessing the computer system or any attempt to cast multiple ballots through the computer system for the purpose of altering the outcome of said referendum or election, will be subject to immediate disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may include, but is not limited to, suspension or expulsion from the university.

CSI: Upcoming Scholarship Deadlines

I wanted to send a friendly reminder that the following scholarships are due next Thursday, March 10 at 4:00pm:
FYI - for all you graduate students, we have not received a single application for the Phi Delta Gamma Award. Since there are not as many scholarships for graduate students as there are for undergraduates, don't miss out on a great opportunity!!!

Also, there is another scholarship open to most students with a deadline quickly approaching - next Monday, March 7:
All of these scholarships will be disbursed for Fall 2011 so you must plan to be enrolled in Fall 2011 in order to be eligible for scholarships.  Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  Good luck!!

Sincerely,
Valerie Kelsey
